Social Media Marketing Intern → Social Media Campaign Lead
Warner Bros Entertainment | Hamburg, Germany | August 2023 – July 2024

TikTok following grew 40% during my time on the team.

Overview

Originally hired as a social media marketing intern, I stepped into a leadership role after the team's social media manager departed three months into my internship — taking over strategy and execution for major theatrical releases including Dune: Part Two and Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

Strategy & Execution

I managed a mix of always-on brand content and campaign-specific releases, building out monthly content plans that scaled in intensity as each film's release approached: light coverage a month out, daily content the week before release, and a heavier push during release week and post-release.

Global assets came in from Warner's international social team, and I selected and adapted what fit the German market. I worked directly with our TikTok and Instagram creative agencies — briefing them, brainstorming concepts on calls, and shaping locally-produced content around each campaign.

Events & On-the-Ground Content

For local premieres and influencer screenings, I planned the content strategy the event videographer, photographer, and agencies needed to capture and post live on the day. I also shot and edited select content myself, though my main role across the campaign was strategic — deciding what got made and why, not just producing it.
